Pink Howell, formerly known as Pink Karen Biticon, an award-winning Filipino producer, has announced she will write again.
Howell was a TV writer in the Philippines from 2003 to 2013 for GMA Network, one of the most prestigious media networks in the Philippines. Howell started her writing career as a segment producer for Unang Hirit, a news and public affairs morning show, in 2003.
In 2004, Howell joined the team of Emergency, a documentary show which featured medical stories, breakthroughs and rescues. It was through the show that she bagged her awards from The New York Video Festival for her story on Tahong Divers (Mussels Divers). Later on, she was promoted to Executive Producer for the show In The Limelight, an entertainment news show featuring stories on celebrities and the local entertainment scene,
In 2013, Howell migrated to the United States to start a new family. Writing was side tracked as she navigated these major changes in her personal life. But this year, Howell has announced through her blog "Behind The Scenes" that she will go back to her first love, writing. She will be writing for Behind the Scenes, Manila Mail and other blog sites. ###
